Break Every Chain by Tasha Cobbs

Much excitement have build up as the 54th Grammy Awards announce the winners of the 70 music categories one-by-one. The Grammys is the "biggest concert night" in the entire music industry as well as the all-encompassing music award, ranging from electronic music, to country music, to classical music, to rap, and to Gospel songs.

                                                                     Mandisa

This year, the Gospel music nominations features some of the most well-known and liked Christian artists, including Steven Curtis Chapman, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Tasha Cobbs, Mandisa, Building 429, Matt Maher, Natalie Grant. Their music have continued to be an inspiration and influence towards the Christians in America, which is only apt that the Grammy Awards continue to include this section of the biggest music venue of the year.

While there is the Dove Awards ceremony that awards only to Christian and Gospel music, the Grammy Awards allows the gospel songs to be featured in the mainstream music industry.

In the Pre-Grammy Telecast, Steven Curtis Chapman was interviewed by the Red Carpet hosts, where he shared that it is his 19th time strolling the red carpet and has grown familiar to the Grammys, and he also brought along his family with him. Although he received the nomination for "Best Contemporary Christian Music Song," the winning song went to Cobb's "Break Every Chains [Live]."

Amy Grant and Building 429 were among other contemporary Christian artists interviewed on the Grammy Awards Red Carpet coverage.

The full list of Gospel song nominations can be found at the 54th Grammy Awards website: Grammy.com/nominees.

Meanwhile, the 56th Grammy Awards will be televised on CBS nationally from 8-11:30 p.m. ET or 5-8:30 p.m. PT on January 26, 2014. The awards ceremony/concert that features superstar performances will also be available to watch online for free through live stream at CBS.com.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared 2014 as Year of GREATNESS!

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founding president of Christ Embassy has declared 2014 ‘the Year of Greatness’

Reading from Joshua 3:7 “And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee”

At the just concluded global New Year’s Eve service with the man of God, Pastor Chris, the Spirit of God declared the year 2014 as the YEAR OF GREATNESS!

According to the Pastor Chris, this year, God will begin to magnify you before the people. He will make you a wonder in your town, city, nation and continent. Greatness has been deposited into your spirit and it will not be taken away.

It does not matter what makes up your life right now, in this year of Greatness, God will begin to magnify you from glory to glory and no one will be able to stop it. Throughout 2014, you’ll go from glory to glory and wax greater and greater because the Lord will magnify you. Hallelujah!

This is your year of Greatness. Confess it and tell as many people as you can that this is your year. Glory to God!

Know Your Divine Agenda and Fulfil It by Pastor Mbenna (Prof.)

The book of Esther and Esther as person has a lot that we can learn from

You can go through the book of Esther to understand the story

In the story we can see how King Xerxes attracted to Esther more than other women, so she set to take the place of Vashti the former Queen

Esther 4: 11   "All the king's officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that he be put to death. The only exception to this is for the king to extend the gold scepter to him and spare his life. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king."

Esther was afraid that she will be killed

Esther 4:14  "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

Mordecai sent Esther a strong message

That message changes the heart and message of Esther

Then Esther realized that she was in the Palace for a divine agenda

In Esther chapter 1,2,3 up to 4:14 was ignorant of who she was

Esther 4:16-17 "Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish." 17 So Mordecai went away and carried out all of Esther's instructions."

Then Esther set to do his divine purpose, he tell her people to fast for three days

Esther 5:6 "As they were drinking wine, the king again asked Esther, "Now what is your petition? It will be given you. And what is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be granted."

King offers Esther several offers but because Esther knew her divine agenda she stick to it

She asked for second banquet with King and Haman

Esther stand for her divine agenda

Esther 8:6-8  "6 For how can I bear to see disaster fall on my people? How can I bear to see the destruction of my family?" 7 King Xerxes replied to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, "Because Haman attacked the Jews, I have given his estate to Esther, and they have hanged him on the gallows. 8 Now write another decree in the king's name in behalf of the Jews as seems best to you, and seal it with the king's signet ring--for no document written in the king's name and sealed with his ring can be revoked."

There were season of Obstacles for Esther but in Chapter 8 it was a season of opportunities for Esther and Mordecai

You might be in the season of ignorant, you don’t know your divine agenda

Everything that seems pleasant or attractive you just grab it, any opportunities that arises you grab it, because you don’t know your divine agenda

To live is to know your divine agenda and fulfill it

If you die before knowing your divine agenda means you have died before you live

DON’T DIE BEFORE YOU LIVE

You have a Divine agenda

Everyone has it, it is there

In Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

This means I had my agenda and my purpose then I contracted you to fit in that agenda

To be born is a divine calling

There is something that have been made before you were born, you have to do it

Look for your divine agenda, it is there

Luke 1:15 "for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth."

You are created for something

There is divine agenda for you

There are three seasons; a season for not knowing your agenda, season for overcoming obstacles towards our divine agenda and season for opportunities for your divine agenda

Three Obstacles to Overcome towards your Divine Agenda

JIFUNZE JINSI YA KUMUONA MUNGU AKIJIDHIHIRISHA KWAKO by Frank Phillip

Mtumishi Frank Philip

TB Joshua declared 2014 as a Year of Crossing the Bridge

Prophet TB Joshua

Renowned Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has declared 2014 as a year of ‘crossing the bridge’, prophesying it to be a year of destiny where corruption would be corrected in Nigeria as corrupt leaders would go down.

It was an electric atmosphere in The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) where large crowds thronged to usher in the New Year 2014. T.B. Joshua came out around 11pm to deliver his much anticipated prophetic message in a broadcast beamed live via the churches popular television station Emmanuel TV.

He first counseled believers to stay steadfast in faith despite the challenges that would arise in the coming year. “We are tempted so that we may pray the more. Afflictions are meant for our spiritual benefit,” he encouraged the congregants and television viewers.

Moving on, he spoke about what was to be expected in the New Year, attendees listening with rapt attention and scribbling notes as he spoke. “This New Year 2014 is not like any other year in the past. It is a year of crossing bridge. To cross the bridge, you need to grab onto faith,” he began. “This is not going to be easy for the mighty. Many of the mighty will fall. Pray for them. The rich, famous and popular people – many will fall this 2014 because crossing the bridge is not going to be easy; they need God. Many of them believe it is their own making to be great in their own area of expertise.”
